‘Windows on Our World’ is a trilogy. Part 1, ‘Hope’, told of the arrival of
Squire in Thorland and the first quest. (Hope FREE with this download!)

Part 2, ‘Faith’, describes the second quest. This takes the company to
the western lands of Luchor, Atmos and Manchor. The company – Squire
(who comes from our world), Helge, Vinny, the three Luchorpans (Alvin, Perkin and Vylin), the wizard twins
(Wim and Sim), and the mule, Faithful – set off once again from the Wizard Tobin’s castle, this time
travelling over the Air Mountains to Kand-e-Har.

Central to the story is Quexitoxeri, the One Prophet, who resides in Thymas Convent. She has the
power to heal and even bring the dead back to life...

About the Author

Leslie William Gates, who goes by the pen name of Les Bill Gates, was born in
England in 1949. In 1972, he graduated from Keble College, Oxford University
with an Honours degree in Mathematics. The following year he completed a
Post-graduate Certificate in Education at Exeter University.

Les has toured the world extensively and has spent more than twelve years in
the Solomon Islands and eleven years in New Zealand.

Les was for many years a High School teacher and former Principal of King
George VI National Secondary School, Solomon Islands.

‘Hope’, the first part of the fantasy trilogy ‘Windows on Our World’, was published in 2007. Les has recently
completed the second part ‘Faith’.

The final part of the trilogy, ‘Love’, is now in progress.
